JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol said a 19-year-old who was hit by a car jumped over a barrier and was then hit by another vehicle Saturday afternoon.
Doyen Nimely is in serious condition (besides being seriously retarded).
The Florida Times-Union reports Nimely was standing over a bike on Dames Point Bridge when he was hit by a car. Nimely then climbed over a concrete divider, started to walk and was hit by another car.
According to authorities, the two drivers involved in the collisions were not hurt.
Charges haven’t been filed.
