While this site is normally dedicated to the stupid, moronic actions of public figures and policy . . . the US Postal Service have come up with a bit of marketing genius today in revealing that Star Wars character Yoda will be put on a stamp. This is the first in a series of stamps with a Star Wars theme to come from the post office. Too bad they couldn’t have picked up on this idea in 1983. Maybe they would have made some bucks off of that one (ala Kenner toys) and stamps wouldn’t be 50% more today than they were in 83.
