In a display of a complete lack of clarity, Pete Stark, a millionaire career politican (D-People’s Democratic Republic of California) who hasn’t has a “real” job since 1973, took it upon himself to act like an ass on the floor of the House yesterday. He took every “Ass Party” talking point that has been published in the past three years, put it into a speech, and rambled on and on about health care, Iraq, children, illegal war, telling lies, etc. etc. Basically, he targeted the “Big Bloated Fat as an Elephant Party” with everything moronic mudsling in the jar. He gets my nomination for the poster child for term limits.

This speech typifies what is disgusting in our country right now. “Leaders” are too busy attacking each other to realize that they have a responsibility for the care of this nation. The economy is fragile, the state of security is fragile, and the world environment is unstable. We are too busy fighting each other to come up with any good solutions to benefit the citizens of the US. Spend. Spend. Spend. Don’t fix anything. All of these politicians keep funding special interests and show no fiscal responsibility. This is happening on all levels of government - city, county, state, and federal. What happened to leaders making real choices and real decisions? This country is heading off track and this speech does nothing but prove it.
